Weight doing my head in now.
I spend all week watching what I eat, I weigh myself every day and after 5 days I'm only down 1lbs.
I have a moment of weakness on Saturday after a night shift and have some alcohol and a curry and put on bloody 3 lbs.
Starting to get fed up now, I was much happier when I didn't know about calories and health eating :(

The whole BBC documentary/series, "The Truth About Food" is really excellent and full of helpful and useful insights.

@Goragon I feel your pain. You can be good all week, and then have one little "treat", and blow your weekly caloric deficit in one sitting. Probably the fluctuations you are noticing are not to do with what you ate though. Make sure to weigh first thing in the morning after a pee, and take averages of your weight over 5 days.
This video (Which is a bit harsh, since I think its targeted toward an american audience) explains it better: https://tinyurl.com/zrm9vtd

Weigh yourself once a week, first thing in the morning, after completion of necessary bodily functions.
