Went for a walk today and decided to try running for a bit. I only ran for 7min, which is actually quite a good amount of time for me, but bad in the world of runners. I've never actually went for a run before, I've only ran during the occasional game outside or after my nephew. I learned that being thin does not equal being in shape! :-) Anyway I stopped because I started to get light headed, my legs felt fine and my breathing seemed fine. Though I noticed that I only run on my toes...

I guess I have a few questions for runners. Is becoming light headed typical? I've heard something called the "runner's high", what is this? And is running on my toes bad? I tried putting my whole foot down but it was difficult.

Hopefully I can run more in the future, but for now I'll stick with walking.
