Hey everybody, how are you?? It has been a tough week for me. As I was going into work on Thursday, I slipped on black ice, managed to do some sort of split, and impacted an area close to my left knee. I had to call out from work and tell them that I wasn't able to make it. I have been off from work and the gym since Wednesday. I have been dealing with my injury the best way I could and tried to cut back on my daily intake due to being sedentary for a couple of days.
I was nervous to step on the scale today, but I had to know my weight and I like keeping track of it regardless of how the week went, my state, etc. I am thrilled to report that I wound up losing close to two pounds for the week which isn't terrible due to said injury. I think it's absolutely fantastic!! I am taking it as a surefire win!! <3 This fuels me to keep going, and I am planning to be back to work and the gym on Monday. I am going to take it easy until I am fully better but I am missing my life! :)
