In September of 2014 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatment early in 2015 with 35 radiation treatments (daily over about 6 weeks) After treatment, I was given a medication to hopefully keep cancer away. Tamoxifin is a drug that suppresses estrogen, and the unfortunate side affect is weight gain.
I have gain about 20 pounds since Febuary, and recent pictures from my daughters wedding and then again at a Christmas party leaves me horrified. I feel so fat and terribly unattractive.
Truthfully I eat very little, but I also don't exercise much either. I have begun a diet of low carbohydrate foods, and lean proteins. Much like the Paleo diet. I did eat a couple of gifted Sees candies last night... but they made me sick as a dog, so I figured I had it coming! LOL
I will weigh in on Saturday and see if my diet is working.
