I traveled today; I packed my lunch: a pound of mixed iceberg and romaine salad with carrots, cabbage, celery, cucumber, tomato, pomegranate seeds, 1/2 oz walnuts and half an apple w/ raspberry balsamic vinegar as the dressing. Then i ate the reminder of my cauliflower soup. Found that was just about all i could eat in one sitting. (Wow)

I left work and arrived home around 5:30pm. Ate my pound of steamed broccoli with some black beans, and now it's time to enjoy the rest of my Thursday at home :)

Oh Boy the controversy over nuts being a weight loss aid! I am surprised at what see online. Note to self - question everyone and everything!! I will be able to see if my addition of nuts and fruit is slowing down my rate of weight loss. Maybe not everyone is the same. Obviously i am doing something right because i continue to lose the body fat. I'm not done with the subject...

I hope you also get some protein so you do not lose muscle tissue, too.

Hi HCB. I get at least 40 to 70 grams of protein every day. Look at my diet calendar! Why would I lose muscle tissue? I have 32 pounds of stored fat to use as energy, plus the glucose I eat every day. That's why I am successfully burning away fat.

they are full of protein, fiber and good fats. How could they not be good for you. Yes, a little goes a long way so portion control is a must.
