Okay, so it's day 2 of better eating & day 3 of exercise. Yesterday I was getting very irritable which I'm guessing is due to my drastic change in diet. I'm not getting near as much sugar as usual & I'm ignoring my cravings. Success! My scale already shows me down 1 pound & I know I'm not supposed to weigh often but I couldn't help but check on my progress. Tonight will be a challenge since it's potluck Mexican food at church...I LOVE Mexican food!

Ended up staying home to eat dinner so I wouldn't be tempted at all. But ended up eating too much pasta. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself since I've been out of healthy habits for almost a year. I know it will take time for my body to get used to all these changes!

You'll find the first few pounds drop quickly. You'll see it slow to about a pound to two pounds a week if you're consistent.
