/sigh
so I get back from lunch today (where I ended up just getting some new jeans, and I'm quite excited because I can now fit (snugly) into a size 12! -can't wear them yet.. but yay!) anyhow... I get back to a thing of animal style fries from in n out on my desk.. I had packed baked sweet potato (which turned out better than I could have imagined) but only ate about half of it, giving the other half to coworkers. I gave away about 2/3 of the animal fries, and ate the remaining 1/3. luckily it was filling enough so that I'm not needing an afternoon snack, which I had planned to be either hummas and crackers or chocolate covered blueberries, but I really did want something sweet. I'm sadly still craving bruxies (a local waffle burger chain around here) pretty severely.. but I should be able to power through it... if not I'll eat maybe a half a burger and hope for the best... but that's only if I get desperate x.x

I wish I knew. It's prettymuch a daily struggle being offered candy cake and other sweets, directly to my desk. I'm able to say no usually, but sometimes, like today, it's difficult.

When people offered me food that wasn't on plan I would say no thanks and turn away/busy myself with something else. They got the hint pretty quick and I don't have this problem much anymore. For me, the more carbs I eat the more I crave sweet/carby foods. I found that out on vacation, the more of them i ate, the more I wanted, even tho I wasn't hungry. I feel for you reading your post....the words you use-Power through, craving, desperate...it's hard to sustain a WOE when feel like this.
