I've been doing pretty well the last few days. I've upped my exercise very slowly and handling that ok. My next challenge is to cut back on the coffee creamer I use in my coffee. I had no idea I was using so much and didn't realize how many calories it added up to a day. Yikes!

why don't you try drinking something else instead of coffee. perhaps fruit teas or herbal teas. not to everyones taste I know and it took me a long time to change. I often have a cup of warm water with a slice of lemon or even fizzy water with a slice of lemon. I long for cup of tea with milk but I have a dairy intolerance so I can only have black tea now. good luck anyway.

Yep, hot tea or lemon water sounds good. Hard to give up my coffee, but I could start by replacing one cup a day with something else. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I am a coffee drinker also and it would be hard to give up my morning coffee.. I just use 1% milk in my coffee...it dose not add as much as creamers do, however, I do count every calorie, carb, fat, and protein. My limit for my daily coffee is 1 cup total....so when I have reached that amount..no more coffee for the day...(so I went to using less milk in a bigger cup :).. )
