I'm finding that this diet thing isn't as easy on the weekends. I don't think I'm going to make it under my RDI today.

We all have days like that! Maybe if you plan a light dinner of a salad with chicken breast you might still hit that RDI.

You have the same love for mt dew as i did. I was a 2 super big gulp a day dewer. I weaned myself in 2 weeks by giving myself a little dew and lots of ice then eatin the ice. it helped

Thanks for the encouragement and advice gals. I will be starting the "No Soda" challenge next week and I have a couple more mountain dews left so I will enjoy them for two more days then go cold turkey. And yes, looks like a light dinner for me tonight!! :)

They say anything you can do for 21 days becomes a permanent habit. I kicked soda altogether by keeping a 21 day countdown on the fridge....and of course eliminating in from the house. It was more difficult at restaurants but I stuck to water and somehow managed to make it 3 months now without soda. Just make sure to keep the aspirin close by for the caffeine withdrawals. Good luck with the challenge!
