It's been a while since I've checked in with you all, so I thought I would do so today to tell you all I'm still doing well. Settling in to the new job [promotion] and still getting it done at the gym on my lunch hours.
I did my 'benchmark challenge' for August last week. Completed 11 (yes, ELEVEN!) deadhang pull-ups at max, and I finished 100 full burpees in 9:40. Both are new personal bests. Considering I started this year with 7 pull-ups and a time of 11:20 for those burpees...I'd say I'm still improving.
Husband is up for a new job duty, too. However, it's going to cause for a temporary relocation for him. We're hoping the relocation will only be for a couple of years, but I'm nervous it could be longer. We're taking it day by day and our new path will unfold before us.
I'm sure enjoying the summer. Kids are great...keeping them pretty active this summer, too.
Well, like I started this journal...all is well food and fitness-wise. Weight is staying steady. Happy days to you all, too!!!
