About water, fat and muscles from mypetfat.com ...

LB of FAT and a LB of MUSCLE and a LB of WATER all WEIGH THE SAME, but they all affect our body very differently. WATER has NO CALORIES, MUSCLE BURNS CALORIES, it's only OUR FAT that's the KEEPER OF THE CALORIES.

So ON ANY GIVEN DAY, what we WEIGH, up or down many times has nothing to do with an increase or decrease in BODY FAT.

The biggest factor that affects our scales on a daily basis is WATER. Now I'm not a doctor, but I've read enough, and I understand just enough physiology to get the fact that WATER is a major player in whatever comes up on our scale.

Look at this WEIGH...

ON ANY GIVEN DAY... your bones are not really going to get any lighter or heavier.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY... you probably can't increase or decrease your muscle mass in any major way.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY... you can eat less, or eat more, which MAY move your scale in either direction.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY... you can exercise or not, which MAY move your scale in either direction.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY... our bodies are made up of 60 - 70% water

So what would you say ON ANY GIVEN DAY... affects our scale the most... I'd say WATER

WATERS in our bones, all of our connective tissue. WATERS in our body fat, WATERS in out muscles.

So I think that the more we all realize how much WATER playe a major role in our collective "TALES OF OUR SCALES" the sooner we can all let go of the power the scale has on us "good or bad".
