I know I've been quiet the past week or so...it's been crazy at work. I just weighed in for the first time in 2 weeks and I'm down 5 pounds! Feeling very good about it and enjoyed the experience of the strike - less freaking out about weight fluctuations...although I don't know that I want to go scale-less that long again.
Had a great weekend with the boyfriend and made awesome plans for Labor Day weekend which were immediately foiled. He got a call Sunday morning from work - they're sending him to China for two full weeks! He leaves tomorrow at noon. I'm used to talking to him for a few minutes every day and probably won't be able to talk to him at all while he's there : (

Wow that's sudden about your bf leaving for China but duty calls. I guess that strike did help take the pressure off getting on the scale, but you still need that number on the scale to keep you on track and to make adjustments as needed.
