My best efforts to sabotage my dieting backfired over the Fourth of July weekend. I was not tracking my intake, losing control of my resolve and feeling dejected about my possibly losing this past month's $100 weight challenge against a good friend who's considerably larger and heavier. Alas, all the bad food I ate wreaked havoc with my system and my tummy hurt all weekend. Anyway, the weigh-in was today and we tied for weight loss after all! Imagine if I had stuck to my guns. Now we're debating whether to add the money to next month's pot or just call it a draw and start fresh. Either way, we plan on dieting another two months minimum, so... the battle continues!
