There is ALWAYS a choice to be made. I was FAT because I chose to be. It really is that simple. I could tell you that I just didn’t have TIME for the gym. That would be true. I could tell you that I didn’t have TIME to cook healthy foods. That would be true as well. The TRUTH, is that if you are looking for an EXCUSE, YOU WILL FIND ONE. There are a million reasons why we need to put ourselves last.
I went to the gym last night even though I had a million reasons why I should have stayed home. I have work to do, so much of it that I feel swallowed. I have deadlines that I know that I CAN’T meet and yet, I MUST. I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS………………………. but I am TAKING IT.
Sapphire and RUBBER came to cheer me on. Sapphire sat patiently waiting while I did my hour of cardio. The nice guy behind the counter gave her cookies and milk. I asked him his name when I thanked him, but I honestly don’t think I listened to his answer. My head was swimming with thoughts. I have a future to plan……
