I have been focused on eating better by planning meals to stave off cravings especially in the afternoon. I know I have to drink more water and ADD exercise - I am not motivated to work out - YET. I’ve stayed the same weight all week and hope to drop something by next week. I have been enjoying folks’ posts and am inspired by your hard work. This is a great community!

For me, I feel like strength training has helped build my muscle, which in turn, has increased my metabolism. Right now I’m working out 2Xs per week (15 pound dumbbells) and walking daily. Plus, CICO weighing/measuring food. I’m now in maintenance and have been for about 4 months. Was in calorie deficit for 1 yr. Tracking my calories on FS is a great tool for me. It has made me more aware about what I’m eating and its nutritional value. Once things calm down at school, I’ll go back to my normal 3Xs per week strength training and continue the walking.
