...looking into the mirror, the feeling of disgust fills my mind...

All I see, is a true Texan redneck, belly hanging over my belt - simply put a beer in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and a bad mullet - and you would have a true image, fit to be the king of the trailer park.

Dieting sucks, exercise sucking more. If only it could suck the fat off my body like a rabid Hoover, instead of sucking the energy out of my like an Ethiopian Vampire - hungry for more.

I've lost some weight, but it feels like I've gained more. 30lbs sticking to me like a toddler wallpapering, all within 6 months.

Now is the time to get it off, and keep it off.

Father Time is no longer kind, as the years tick by. In your youth, you starve for the years to come - as an adult you long for time to slow down like a broken watch.

...trying to keep my motivation is becoming more difficult - but longing for the body I had a year ago keeps me going strong.

4.2lbs lost last week - hopefully the 2.5 miles a day on the treadmill will pay off, and I'll continue to see some improvement.

I know that this won't happen overnight, and I'll be battling this for the rest of my adult life; like the Jews and Palestinians - the fight will never end.
