Debbie Cousins's Journal, 21 April 2023

In two days, it will be ten months ago that I started on this WOE - calorie-counting, recording everything I eat, getting in 20g fiber, drinking 6 cups of water a day, and increasing my exercise (in almost six months, from ZERO to gradually 3.5 miles of walking a day). I haven’t always done perfectly, but I haven’t given up when I’ve had temporary setbacks. I’ve allowed myself to have the things I really love - Dave’s Killer Good Seed bread, butter, desserts and Diet Coke. For over a month, I’ve hovered between 200-205. Today, finally, I crossed the threshold and dipped below 200. Had to lose 59 pounds to do it, but this morning I am at 199.6!!! God has been good (as He is ALL the time) in giving me the motivation and determination I needed to accomplish this milestone. Next goal: 175.

I've been reading your posts for quite some time and I feel like this WOE is by far the healthiest one you have tried so far. Its great that you have lost weight and look how much you have achieved so far! 3.5 mile walks are no small feat! Congratulations and be proud!!💜
