Posted on my group that I've gained even tho I didn't have any desserts, etc. even looking at other peoples' food entries & not seeing what I'm doing that's so different from everyone else....

OK, this is where you need to be your own best detective. Of course, the occasional alcohol has to go, but you already knew that. And, you already know that you need to log everything...every meal, every day. When you're puzzled about what's happening, it's a lot easier to come up with a plan of tweaking, if you have a complete food log. Beyond that, be sure to measure everything! Whenever I hit a problem, the first thing I do is go back to getting an exact measure or weight of what I'm eating. Also, sometimes, processed meats will slow or halt weight loss....deli meats, bacon, sausage, etc. Some people have no problems with them, but it's worth some thought. Also, think back, if you can, to cny changes you made about mid-month in June, as that seems to be when your weight loss pace changed. It's also worth noting that between 5/31 and 7/1, about 1 month, you lost 2 pounds. That's still 1/2-pound per week and within what's considered healthy. Only you can judge whether that's a reasonable, typical pace for you or not. Age is working against us in that regard, unfortunately, but it works FOR us in our focus and persistence! Good luck with your trip to FL...the walking you anticipate doing will definitely sweat out some pounds!

Sandy thank you - you are correct that is exactly what I need to do. When I get back from Florida I will definitely track everything & measure - I know I don't measure like I should. I'm going to stick with the diet while on vacation but won't have a computer to track...Looking back at both my loss & gain I do see what I did right & what I did wrong thank you!! Sue
