1. I am now up to 2.5 miles. I run the first mile straight through, then walk a quarter mile. Then a quarter mile sprint. Then walk, then sprint. Then, a brief walk and just jog the final leg at a pace above 6mph.

2. As I lose weight, I find I can't drink the same amount of coffee I used to without getting jittery. Also, my glass of wine per day hits me harder.

3. I've stopped counting carbs altogether. It's all about portions, now. Still eating smaller portions, but by now my brain doesn't even notice. Changing plate sizes has really worked.
