Knees complaining this morning about having to go up and down the stairs four times yesterday. It’s only 6 stairs, but it really hurts to try to come up them! I have to use the rail to pull myself up.

Weight up a few ounces. No bowel activity yesterday, so I’m not surprised.

Feeling really weak this morning. ZERO desire to start my walking. Just rubbing the Voltaren into my knees made my arm exhausted. Maybe I’ll go back to bed and start over in an hour or so. Sometimes, you just have to do what you can do to get through the day.

Praying I wake up energized and motivated. Gotta start baking today, so I need some umph.

Did my walking, even though I didn't feel like doing it. Thirty-two days of walking 1-1/2 mile each day. Forty-three days of it being at least a mile. Ended up taking a pain pill today. Praise the Lord, I haven't had to take one in 3-4 weeks, though!

Debbie, unsolicited advice here: going to an orthopedic doctor and getting my knee replaced is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I am sorry that I put it off for so many years. Yes, the first month following surgery was rough, and the rehab can be painful but here I am 11 weeks out pain free. Still have some achiness now and then, but that will be gone in a few months. The fact that you are walking everyday puts you at an advantage for a successful outcome, if you decide to look into it. You have been successful in your journey here in so many ways, it is inspiring

I hope you feel better. Check out an autoimmune diet. Sounds like real bad arthritis and removing some items might help reduce inflammation

Perhaps re-evaluate your planned menu and eliminate some of the most labor intensive items. Ask some of your guests to bring a dish. That's what we do for our family get-togethers, lightens the load for any one person.

Congratulations on your continued weight loss. Probably all our physical problems are due to inflammation. I too use the stair rail to climb the stairs because of my hip. It was 6 months for me that I only had 1 dessert/sweet and 1 glass of wine but I blew it all 5 weeks ago when our daughter died. Yesterday I finally started over with eliminating the sweets and hope I can stick with it for at least a while. Yesterday was a milestone in another way too. To my memory, it is the first time my husband has hit me in 55 years. Well, maybe it was just a hard slap to the back of my head. I did not call the police as instructed by Adult Protective Services but he must be holding himself back because he mentioned that he hasn't thrown me around in the last year and a half. The Lord sure is carrying me since I couldn't cope without Him.

Try a Radical Elimination Diet called Carnivore! To start do Triple B&E! And you might consider the Lion Diet. These are highly likely to improve your knees considerably. Worth a try.
