well I've started this banting lark this am. I had a juice for breakfast as was not up for food (it was a banting friendly juice, for energy) an omelette with cheese onion and tomato for lunch. Early days I know, but so far I feel like I am cheating. As per usual when I am off this site my weight rockets. I forgot to stand on scales this morning, but will do so tomorrow morn, listen out for the cry lol. But hey maybe this banting will give me the change required inbetween my fits and starts on Cambridge (which definately works, with will power), unfortunately I struggle to keep Cambridge up when I work nights. It's all psychological, but hey, if banting works psychologically when I am on nights then who cares.
Well lets see if my optimism is as good tomorrow.
Note to self : will have to allow a few moments to recover when getting off scales.

never done Cambridge diet, its shakes isn't it? i know Banting is high fat like mine is and this is the best way to not eat much. i keep saying it on here but i have never eaten better since going low carb (on about 50g a day). i feel full, miss a meal occasionally which was never known on low cal, the food tastes great and is good to cook. have recently fallen in love with spinach, rocket and watercress salad leaves, low carb and low cal fill you up and taste good, lovely under an omellette :)

Ah bless the scales, didn't surprise me unfortuneatly, but hey, I am defo heading the wrong way with the weight at mo. Yes Cambridge is shakes soups and bars, has worked well in the past but just fell like a bit of a change, then I will probably go back to it. Have tried low carb last few days and actually you are right, fab food not feeling deprived, really enjoy it. So here goes I am going to be brave and record my weight ( I could cry, whos a silly girl). On wards and upwards.
