Down a pound! Good for you!
I hope your family food situation improves. Might I make a suggestion. Whenever you eat food they make or bring home you should look up the calories/sodium/carbs per portion and quote the numbers to them and eat it if you have to. Say things like, I can't eat very much of this compared to XYZ you brought home the other day. Maybe then they will bring home healthier choices for you at least.
Just a thought. I can only imagine the challenge of cutting calories when you aren't in complete control of your own diet.
