For those who want to try it, I nailed the pumpkin spice smoothie recipe this morning: cup of soymilk, cup of pumpkin, 1 apple, 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice, 3 oz tofu, 1 Tbsp flaxseed meal & 2 soaked halawi dates for sweetness

415 calories, 20 grams protein, 15 grams fiber & a ton of potassium. Had to add water to get my underpowered blender to work. Would have added 1/2 cup more soymilk, but used the last cup I had in the house in the initial mix. I think I may buy myself a nicer blender for my birthday

I'd encourage both of you to give it a go and let me know if you like it! I loved it. Been thinking I need to eat more pumpkin, so this seems like a great way to do it. It made a ton, so you could easily split it if that many calories is more than you want. The oatgurt and banana I used yesterday kind of masked the pumpkin flavor, so the apple and dates were much more neutral. Happy Friday back! 😃

Wondering pumpkin? In the grocery whole veg. or pureed in a can?

Where do I stay, Conscious Eater? As in where do I live? I'm in Wyoming, out on the high, dry prairie, surrounded by scrub and ranch land. Definitely no citrus groves here!

LivinBreezy, I used canned pumpkin -- the type that's pure pumpkin, nothing added. I'm not ambitious enough to cook my own pumpkins 🎃

Whoops! One correction -- 1 rounded TEASPOON pumpkin pie spice, not a tablespoon

This looks so healthy and delicious. I have almond milk and oat milk and may give it a try with one or the other. Will need to drop the sugar content a bit. Maybe a smaller portion. Anyway, I like this idea! Thanks! :)

losingtowin-- you could always skip the dates or skip the apple (one or the other). It just wouldn't be as sweet. I generally don't worry about natural sugars as added ones, myself. I'd check to see which of the 2 milks you have has less sugar. If you use stevia or other non-caloric sweeteners, you might even try skipping the fruit altogether

losingtowin -- if you skip the fruit and use sweetener, maybe some plain yogurt? I'm all about tweaking recipes to support your chosen WOE!

gwzfire -- this made a HUGE amount. Like 2 full glasses, and then a half glass. I only drank 4/5 of it and left that last half glass for my husband. You could easily split it
