As I'm writing this, my other foot is on an ice bucket. I followed through on my training plan completing 19 miles this week and now the ankle is a bit swollen. Nothing serious but something not to be ignored either.
It's moments like this that I often wonder why in the first place did I let myself go at one point. Why have I waited to get into a point where I have to torture myself back to health?
Whatever the reason is, it must have been worth it. Life is all about compromises and facing consequences.... and moving on. Life is too short to have regrets.
Looking forward to more miles next week.

Great mindset - no regrets - just move forward .... as far as your ankle, yes, i agree, i wouldn't ignore. rest it .... make sure it stops barking before you head back out walking/jogging/running. my knee taught me that. :)
