OK here is my first journal entry. Trying to get in more activity and less food. Just started riding my bike and I generally include some treadmill and weight training. Been averaging exercising about 5 days a week. As for the food, I am eating several small meals throughout the day.
I haven't really weighed myself in a few weeks. It is maddening to not see a loss. I can see that I am losing and my clothes are looser. I will weigh when I think the loss is more signficant.

Nothing new or different. Still working out and trying to eat less. Trying to find something tasty at Starbucks that is low cal. I used to drink a latte breve when I low carbed but those have a lot of calories. Without the half and half most of their coffee is bitter and just tastes awful. The challenge continues.

It does take some getting use to when you switch to nonfat and skim milk at starbucks. I would much rather prefer the richness and thickness of a breve latte but I don't even notice the difference anymore. I will not allow myself to drink them. I order a tall, or grande (never vente) skinny vanilla latte. It's 90 cals in a tall I think and I really like them. My sister makes her lattes at her house with her espresso machine and loves it. Starbucks is a treat for me, I don't usually buy fancy coffee although I really enjoy them. My usual a small coffee from McDonald's with 2 cream and 1 sugar because there's one right around the corner from my house. :-) Perhaps try other coffee chains. I enjoy peets coffee more than starbucks I must say. Hope you find something you enjoy. Good Luck!
