I hate this. I feel completely out of control. I need to get this taken care of pronto. Not that I need to lose the weight quickly. I just need to lose. I desperately want to have the conviction and discipline to change my eating habits - FOR GOOD!! I could jump on the fad diets all day long, but if I do not start training myself to change my life, then it won't make any difference at all.

Feeding the body is important. I think of it as a car that needs fuel. You don't want to go to a gas station that puts a bunch of crap in the gas as a filler when it is not good for your car. You will go to the gas station that has the gas for your car that helps it run best. It is the same with food. You don't ever want to put anything in your body that is not going to help your body run well. Fresh food, veggies, fruits, etc make this car run great. Fried food, sugars, starches, etc. make this car run like crap.

It's time to take control. The trick is remembering how I feel today.

Baby steps. You are already off to a good start by realizing it will not be overnight and will take time. The hardest part is the beginning. After you BEGIN making changes, they become the routine. If I had to offer my top 3 suggestions they woould be: Make your own food, take it to work..there is very VERY little good fast food Period. i FREEZE HOME MADE FOOD AND TAKE IT TO WORK WITH ME. Drink ALOT OF WATER. I drink well over 100 oz a day and its not that hard. RECORD EVRYTHING YOU EAT! It makes you accountable and you are thinking about the stuff you will have to write down later. IF I CAN DO THIS, SO CAN YOU!!
