FutureFitness's Journal, 25 February 2015

Okay. Folk knowledge. It works. Things my grandmother used to say in her scolding tones:

"Wait until dinner. Put that back."

"You don't need to STUFF yourself. Just eat enough."

"Eating time is done for the day. No more eating." (After dinner).

Perhaps out of some sort of rebellion, I would sneak around her strictures when I could. (I lived with her for two years). And I was vindicated as the whole "snack throughout the day" approach to dieting that became popular about 1990.

But now the pendulum has swung back, and thank goodness. Just five short days ago, I stopped all snacking and all post-dinner eating. I weighed in this morning and, since Sunday, it's another pound gone. I didn't record it because it seems too good to be true. It said 294.3.

I expected to be hungrier. I expected to want to eat bigger meals. No. I'm feeling....NORMAL.

Though, I have to admit. I WANT SOME NICOTINE.
