It's all about cause and effect. Cause: went to movies twice this week and every time I couldn't resist the popcorn and the cookies. Then, I also slacked off on my running this week - didn't push hard enough for the planned 16 and ended 4 miles short. Effect: it set me back a pound.
Tomorrow is a start of a new week. It's all about redemption!
I've been inspired lately by Team SCA the only all women team in Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15. Their story No Ordinary Women is currently showing in a 4-part series on Nat Geo People. These women mostly in the 30's and 40's were training to compete in an extreme offshoring race around the globe and seeing how they train and put their all is simply admirable. For me they epitomize real beauty. They are strong in body and mind - simply, truly beautiful!
