Writingwyo, my new phone doesn’t have my chore list. My old app, (that I LOVE), has been discontinued. So had to find an inferior list app, and slowly transfer my chores to that one.
So I am doing them as I go. Good deal, sit down after every chore.😁👍

Morticia, the humidity is now only 40%, yet it’s pretty miserable. It’s only 85% but it seems sooo hot. My baby dog is panting. I may take off my socks, I rarely do. Will look up Southern Illinois. Stay cool! 👍💧

We will be in Irvine in a few days and our son told us we could run the a/c all day and night if we want. There's a swimming pool where they live, so we can cool down that way too. I have heard about how uncomfortable the weather has been out there, even with a/c and a pool.

I usually dread August in Texas, but so far August has been better than July this year. Yea for temps just in the 90s!!!

We have humidity and high temperatures (close to 90) in Barcelona too. And in Madrid, humidity is low, but temperatures rise to 107 🥵. Going into the street is like stepping into a giant oven!

My Becky, I am so excited for you to be out here in Irvine. I looked up Irvine‘s weather thinking you’ll be cooler even though it’s only a few miles away, but they have 90% humidity while we’re at 86%. So it’s great they have a pool, bring your swimsuit!!!

Texasgranny, I am so happy that your August so far is OK. My husband tried to talk me into moving to Texas. Someone we knew in Texas told me yeah come on out, you only have to go in doors about 10 AM because of the heat. 😕🙃 No no no, I rather be in Alaska! Our business now has a store out there, I hope it doesn’t melt.🤣

SieteTresEva, my father-in-law‘s family was from Spain and he always wanted to move back there. His dreams were taking us on vacation to Spain those last few years he was alive. I miss him so!! I am often in Palm Springs in unbelievable temperatures, and I surprisingly survive.😁🤣 Stay cool!💕

NAVYWIFESKI, I am surviving.
MFor some reason as temperatures go up it seems like the humidity goes down. So even though it gets hotter I’m a lot more comfortable later in the day. It was 68, but 86% humid, it’s now 72 and also 72% humid, and boy can I feel the wonderful difference.👍
