There's an amazing rainstorm going on right now and a part of me really wants to run in it! Another part of me remembers how awful wet socks feel. :)

Yesterday I decided I needed a rest day. Walking felt like wading through Jello, so I wanted to give myself a break. Unfortunately I always overeat on rest days. I assume it's because I try to replace the endorphins with my other drug of choice, food.

I've been really good, so a cheat day isn't a problem. However, I did consume a fair amount of salt and so I've decided not to weigh myself until Monday, when the salt should be gone from my system. I'm sure my weight is higher today and I don't want to get discouraged.

Does anyone else binge when they don't workout? I always read about people needing to be careful about not overeating when they DO workout, but that's never been a problem for me.
