I realized something. I am a carb dependent person physically. I have a lot of natural muscle mass, way more than average so it takes a lot of carbs to fuel it. I also have A.D.D/HD and the hyperactivity component takes a lot of carbs to fuel it. I am constantly thinking, and even dreaming when I sleep looking for answers and solutions, reliving the day, my life, etc... That kind of energy requires a lot of carbs too.

My differences are probably to my benefit. When I jerked away the carbs, my body needed fuel and is taking it from fat I suppose (I hope) and not muscle. When I first started this, I was losing like crazy, 20 pounds in a month and could have continued at that rate but felt it was really unhealthy. So I started eating carbs again and the weight loss stopped. I am going to do something different from the average weight loss plan.

I am going without carbs for 3 weeks and carbs for a week (but at a much lower amount that I customarily eat.) That way, the loss will stop but then be kick started again. It is the kick start that causes the rapid weight loss...the body seeking an energy source it was so profoundly dependent on and not finding it. It must feed from something and I am introducing pure protein, like meat or supplements and that protein with turn into muscle and not fat, like carbs.

I do not ever hardly eat bread or pasta, just because I am not attracted to it. It is created not grown that way from the earth. Your body tells you what it needs but you must understand and listen. Pasta and bread is good, real good but if you put a plate of pasta, bread, steak, vegetables, candy in front of me, I am taking the meat and sweets! I am raw energy; MEAT and SWEETS (but pure sweets like caramel, honey, I mean I could drink it!) Meat and sweets is really SURVIVE, SUSTAIN and GO! My ancestors were hunters and gatherers. They killed their food and grew their food, it was raw and strong bodies were created in that way of life for generations to come...naturally strong.

So the thing is, you must understand your ancestry and how your people survived. You need to realize that they created you and they live within you from their DNA. Some people did not have to hunt and had money or goods to always pay for their food, some people were poor and scavenged food, scraps from the rich and some people hunted and got food for both. For sure we all came from people who ate from the earth at one time. A good rule of thumb is to not eat anything that is not in it's natural state as it appears on the earth...like broccoli and CHEESE (cheese is not natural). Mashed potatoes are not born mashed and certainly do not have butter and gravy in them. Bread is not bread, it is grain and seeds ground into bread (with a lot added in). Eat the multigrains they originate from.

If you like coffee, eat the beans, if you like fried chicken, remove the bread crust and fry it in a pan with it's own skin with a natural and beneficial oil made from seeds making sure to only rub on what is needed and to blot it in a paper towel when done (even though it does not come from the earth in that oil form). I myself eat it boiled even though I love fried chicken. Use a lot of herbs (fresh if possible) in everything. Throw away your salt shaker and replace them with peppercorns from all over the world and freshly ground them. Life has to be enjoyable and the foods that hinder that enjoyment must be eliminated, meaning the ones that are unhealthy and this process becomes a disease which hinders enjoying life. Everything starts to focus around calories and food. That too must stop. It is in itself unhealthy.
