I'm still here. I haven't logged food intake....it probably doesn't matter much since it rarely sticks with me very long anyway. I'm not fooling with the scale right now either. I have gained weight though. My photo was in the paper from a swearing in ceremony and I couldn't help but tear it apart. I looked like 10 pounds of sugar in a 5 pound bag. I was so nauseated when I was being sworn in. They had been grilling out hamburgers outside of the courthouse and the smell of burning meat threw me for-loop. I can't tolerate meat...beef, chicken, fish, steak...things I used to love. Funny, I can't tolerate overly sweet either...cupcakes, donuts, jellies. I'm convinced I will be giving birth to a vegan. One might think that I wouldn't be gaining weight...and one would be so very wrong. Carbs are about the only thing I can choke down. So I probably have 15 pounds of Saltines straight to my ass. I just look rough too. I envy those women that have that beautiful glowing skin when they're pregnant. I, on the other hand, appear weathered. My skin is crazy dry and I simply look rode hard and put up wet. Have I mentioned that my chest has exploded two full cup sizes. Because it has. I'm now confined to sports bras. I have still been trying to exercise. Thanks to my horses breaking through the fences the last two days, I found out that I can still make a 12 min mile for two miles. I can also still cuss like a sailor. Ok. So that is my update. I know...not real inspiring. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and CANNOT wait. I was initially concerned that being on a cruise might make morning (which is really morning, noon and night) sickness worse, but I've concluded that it can't get much worse so I can either be miserable at home or puking in paradise. I choose paradise.
