Hi, everyone! I'm new to the Dukan Diet, and I'm actually planning to modify it a bit, since I'm vegan.
My book hasn't arrived yet, so I can't really start 100% right now, but the Dukan website really spoke to me! I loved the "true weight" test, although it advised me that my true weight is about 3.5 pounds higher than my goal weight... not sure whether I should believe that or not!
I'm thinking that, like South Beach, I will have to skip the first phase. It would be too difficult to do pure protein as a vegan, even if only for a few days.
I will have to add carbs to the protein days, in the form of beans, since I don't eat meat or dairy, and since tofu is not something that I can eat all day long.
Still, I'm positive that even with these modifications, the Dukan Diet will work for me!
I only have 11 pounds left to lose (I've already lost over 70 with Weight Watchers, but I'm stuck here and ready to get rid of the last few with a new approach).
Any Dukan advice for me?
