I am home from Puerto Rico!!!!! Yay! Not a good place to diet... good thing I'm not! The funeral was nice, lots of people I didn't know came and it was very sad. After we ate at the Metropol... as usual... and I got the bestest "Mofongo" ever! I watched "Pirates 2" about three times and played soccer with Tio Arturo. He played in college and is actually really good! On Sunday I went to the beach and hung out with the daughter of Armando's friend, Christina. We swam in the ocean for a while and I got the burn of my life! I couldn't carry my backpack on my shoulders on the way back because they stung so badly! We had the best empanadillas at the beach. Also we ate at "Bonanza," a Puerto Rican buffet and Walmart, where they served beast authentic food at cheap prices. We went to Laures and ate weird ice cream, like garlic, rice and beans and pana. We ended up with "Aroz con Dulce" flavor. After that we ate at a place that was slow as anything and I got a fake sandwich cubano... no pickle or mustard! On Sunday before we visited the jail where Tio Antonio is we ate at the hotel's cafeteria. I had the greatest toast and a cheesecake... mmm! Oh! I forget to mention when I arrived we ate at Chillis and I met Guengo, mom's high school friend. Well I loved the trip and would love to go back!!! Note to self, I love, with a passion, Besitos de Coco!!!
