Great! Still going down, down, down! I'm just a little nervous because vacation starts tomorrow. The ladies and gentlemen who do this diet say that it only takes a few days to get the weight back down if you gain, so I'm hoping that's true. I'll try to take it easy nonetheless. YAY!

Vacations are not times to stress...about anything! You are on a good road. Keep traveling and you'll get there.

Thanks girl! You are SO right. My hubby keeps telling me the same thing. Ever since I found something that works for me, I've been nuerotic about not messing it up. I guess I'm slightly scared that I'll stop trying when I get back. But I know that's not true.

Even more reassurance... let's look at this the super nerd way... with NUMBERS! Now, if a pound of fat is about 3,500 calories then you would have to eat that much EXTRA over what it takes for you to maintain to actually even gain one pound. It's damn near impossible to gain any real amount of weight in the short term. Anything you do gain (hey, it IS a vacation) is likely water retention from increased sodium intake. As long as you don't go completely crazy, and get back on track as soon as you get home, you'll be fine.

OMG you're right! I would have to eat 3500 calories for each *real* pound of weight gain. I could kiss you both! Now I can finally enjoy my week!
