Another week, another couple pounds. I felt like I was hitting a plateau for a bit sitting around 239-237. I started a new core work out about 3 weeks ago and I feel like that has put a new charge in my metabolism. My energy is good, my body feels healthy (minus a few aches and pains) and my mind is clear and focused. The longer I stick to my diet routine, the more ingrained it becomes. I'm much more aware of how my body feels before and after food. Hunger is real and not based on cravings and urges for the first time in as long as I can remember. I eat when I'm hungry and I stop eating when I'm full. I've learned to eat my meals more slowly to give my stomach ample time to tell me when I'm full. Starting out each meal with small, modest portions also gives me the chance to make a decision to eat more if I'm still hungry, or pass on seconds if I'm full. Thanks Fat Secret for giving me the tools I need to reach my health goals!
