Thanks Sophie. I am having a tearful day today. There is so much I should be grateful for yet here I am sitting crying! Have been trying to organise to get away for a few days, a friend offered to pay for us for a few nights, I found a place that we would like and I haven't heard back from her and the rooms are filling up fast. Hubby has taken an extra day off work too just for this and now we may not be able to go if my friend doesn't see my facebook message in time. I guess I am more desperate to get away than I thought huh?  

well it's understandable. you really need a break from everything, some time to clear your head. can you give your friend a call or send her an email as well? i would hate for you to miss out on a lovely opportunity. don't cry, please.... i know it's hard but you have life & love - two of the best gifts ever! 

Hope you can get away for awhile honey. thats exactly what you need. to see different scenery. Praying you get to go.......Bren 

Yay it is all sorted. And the resort is giving us one night free because we are from Christchurch! So we upgraded to a wonderfully huge room with mountain views and it is still costing my friend less than the original cheap room. And my sweet friend has said she will pay for the same again in 6 months time. Wow! Thank you for the prayers - they more than worked! God is amazing huh??? 

What a wonderful gesture from your friend. I hope you enjoy yourself, you and hubby, and that you are warm and toasty in the hotel. Enjoy because you sure deserve it. Good friends like that are very precious 

Oh Squiggs. I am teary eyed for you. Thank you for making me realize how precious life is. You have a wonderful friend and hubby. Enjoy yourselves. You deserve the time away from crazyness. I bet you will be warm for a few days! 

Sorry your cold. There is nothing worse than freezing. Its so painful. Not to rub it in but we are going to be up to 91 tomorrow. Hello! This is still April. Hate to see how bad this summer is going to be.

Keli today is a bit warmer, thankfully that cold blast has gone through and we should be fine for about a week until it cools down again. Yikes 91F already? I hope your summer is not too hot this year.
