I just calculated my BMR (Basic metabolic Rate) and if I stay in bed all day, I only burn 1550 calories! I'm eating way more than that on average, so I guess that means I need to cut back some. Hopefully with exercise I can burn more calories, but I changed my RDI to 1700 calories, which is depressing since I've consistently eaten much more than that.

only? that's a lot of calories to burn just sitting around doing nothing! that's awesome! then you have to figure in walking, moving, driving, eating and every other thing that burns calories. that's what I love about this site, you can put it all in and it will calculate for you if you are at a deficit or a surplus!
Just keep it up and you will get there!
