Sometimes we just need to hear someone say it~ (Here’s a story for ya)

So… I have been working out aggressively for a little over two months now. When I first started out at the gym, I met a woman name "D". When I met "D" she had lost 26 pounds (I think I had not lost much weight at the time) and had a personal undercover trainer too LOL. Any hew, "D" is a faithful gym attendee and when we would see each other we would always say “hi and keep up the good work”! Well soon after that, "D" lost her personal undercover trainer and was going to the gym alone. I asked “D" where is your personal trainer friend? She said that due to circumstances he could no longer help me. I said that is so sad. She said that is okay I am still here right. I said right and you are doing so well! Well time went by and I had not seen "D" in a while; however, two days ago she returned to the gym after about 3 weeks. I was able to have a chat with her as we work on our legs (working out on some contraption; LOL), when we spoke "D" told me that the reason why she was out of the gym for 3 weeks was due to a heart problem. I could not believe it and was shocked! She is 28 years old. I said OMG are you alright? She said that yes, she is fine now and that the condition was something that she was born with and her mother never knew. She said she finally received clearance from the doctor to return to the gym. I said well let me know if you ever need anything! I am here for you as we are both on a journey and in the same place (meaning I have diabetes and I know what it is to have a health condition). Here is the best part about the story (as that was a downer to hear about "D"), "D" said those words that yeah our friends and family tell us but it is nice to here from someone else on occasion. She said, "I told my husband about you and how great you look" I said what (in amazement)? She said, "Yes you look great!" She went on to say that, I have not been here in 3 weeks and I see a big difference. All of the sudden I could hear the Handel’s Hallelujah resounding in my head. LOL I told "D" that was the best news that I have gotten all day! Yeah sometimes we just need to hear it " YOU LOOK GREAT" So here’s to all of you weight strugglers "YOU LOOK GREAT DARLINGS; YOU ALL LOOK GREAT"

Thanks "D" for noticing and even more I am here for you girl!!

Have a great Hump day you crazy busy bees!!

Ahhh thank you mbhpro! That means a lot to me girl; ya know haha...Boy I wonder if the men do that too "hey dude I just wanted to say you look great" I just love the fact the we (women) can pay a compliment to one another! Thanks again... btw kudos'on keeping it low carbs...I have been struggle this week in that area (:Z ahh this me screaming)! I think I need to go grocery shopping and get the low carb stuff. I only have two weeks and I am not sure that I will make my goal of 6 pounds down by my b-day! I am so sad about that but I know it has everything to do with my diet…too much salt (maybe) LOL
