I don't journal much, but just wanted to today to share the hope and good news. At my bro's wedding on October 23 I weighed 250 lbs. yesterday I weighed in at 199. I didn't use any fancy expensive diets, didn't cut breads and fruit out of my diet, and I didn't take any fancy hCL injections or put anything weird under my tongue. I just followed the food guide pyramid at www.mypyramid.gov and I encourage everyone to do the same. Those people get paid big money to create nutrition plans, and the info works. I didn't even have to starve myself. Just eat rounded meals as instructed, and get your 60-90 minutes of activity a day (the part that's hard to hear for most) and you WILL gradually move towards a healthier weight. I know the last ten pounds won't be as easy as the first fifty, but I'll keep at it. Just wanted to share the good news and let everyone know that it IS possible to move towards a healthier lifestyle. Hearing other peoples' stories on this website has been a huge motivation for me to keep going, so I just wanted to share in hopes that maybe my story could do the same. :)
