Thursday was a wash! Had gone two days on limited sleep and the day was very busy and go-go-go, with some emotional distress. I ended up having peanuts and a bag of DORITOS!! (38 carbs in one little bag--can you believe it?? That's two days of meals!!!). A lot of time got wasted with work drama, so I felt down about my lack of productivity. Tried to break the monotony by going to a social event, but getting there bombed as well--and wasted yet more time!I came home all tired, and just made a good meal, and fell asleep right upon eating that...and kept sleeping...for 12 hours straight! So skipped the gym!!

Friday was more restrained food-wise. I tried to keep tabs on what I was eating. I did go to the gym and sweated bullets, but it was only for an hour. As I wrote on Bad Andee's journal, I had psyched myself out before going to the gym, and felt I couldn't keep up with the crazy competition they ask me to meet! I know I know--I'm being a wimp! But it sucks when your body just won't do what you want it to do--it wont move!!!

Meals:
Breakfast: atkins bar (3), coffee with cream (3), soy milk (2)
lunch: 2 veggie patties (4), and some salad, no dressing
Dinner: 1 more atkins bar (3),
pre-gym: 1 more atkins bar (3)
post-gym: soy milk and pretin mix (3)
Total: 21 carbs (but no real food!!!! I have to stop eating these Atkins' bars and get back to spending time on cooking full meals from fresh ingredients.

Gym: 30 mins bike (9 miles +, and 160 calories). 30 mins treadmill..

what a sweet journal! you got all psyched up and then couldn't get your body to move?! You just made me feel such empathy for you! made me wanna run over and lend you a helping hand, friend! I'll be there in...in a jiffy! keep the light on!

38 carbs in a bag of Doritos! what do you think that means? I would say that it means to stay away from that little bag of Doritos, my little friend! knowing you...you'll go back for more peanuts though, so there's no use in telling you to stop those!

in fact, you have started the trend! you are a REPEAT OFFENDER of eating those nuts! I think you could affectively steal the words right outta Destiny's Child's mouth! She sings "NO NO NO NO NO...WHEN IT'S REALLY YES YES YES YES YES!"

You know BadAndee is in the mix when you start saying insane things like, "I did go to the gym and sweated bullets, but it was only for an hour". What's up with that??? ONLY for an hour??? You crazy or something? That qualifies as a great workout in my books. And those little peanutty Dorito transgressions... well, we'll just overlook those in light of your "ONLY for an hour" effort.

I think that once you get past your end-of-semester work, it'll be a little easier for you. And an hour is a great workout in my book! :)
