Another week, another pound. I was really excited to see that because I had the flu last week and got basically no physical activity in.

This week I start hitting up the gym something fierce. I went today for the first time in three weeks. I wanted to do more than I did, but I didn't want to risk hacking up something gross on a treadmill during peak gym times. I stretched, did a short run warm up, eight weight machines and then 25 minutes on the new bike. Oh, and five minutes of ab workout. It felt good to be back.

My food calories for the day will total less than 1000 unless I have something upon coming back from the bar. That's right, the bar. So, half of my intake today will be food while the other have will be in libations, all in the form of Michigan's favorite son who only comes home during summer vacation: Oberon. That's right, folks, it's Oberon Day in Michigan and I must celebrate. When in Michigan, do as the Michiganders do during the last week of March: drink, be merry, and anticipate a season full of great sunny summer ales.

Calories lost today? Lookin' like basically none.
