Haha, frugal existence but not when it comes to your bike 👍. Kidding aside Matt, I haven't had sport drinks for years since I developed headaches because of drinking it. Thanks for the web link, no surprise there. Next year, I will work on getting consistent power for my next 100 miles ride. It took me almost 8h for my first 100miles. I'd like to get that down to less than 7H. 2 riders at work did it in 4.5h (57 y.o) and 6.5h (64 y.o). So I am the youngest (50s) and the slowest 😀

Hi Tai, You CAN do it ! But be aware of our limits..exerting unneccessarily too soon will have a prolonged impact. I used to be a single Golf handicapper but unable to play anymore due to lasting injuries simply because my A++ personality overaggressive OCD -overexerting myself hitting 200+ balls every single day and night.. take care my friend 👍

Thanks for the advice. I am definitely wiser now that I am older. I am only competing against myself, so I slow down when my body tells me to slow down. Keep going Matt, I am rooting for you as usual 👍.
