KMartin - Haven't gotten around to buying an electronic scale yet - it is on the list, but I do measure and record faithfully. Yesterday I ate like crap - that is not typical of my diet. Thanks.

Buffy, I bought a digital scale at Wal-Mart that I like because I can place my dish/bowl on it then zero it out to only measure the food I put in it. I am going to buy another one to keep here at the office, too. When I actually started measuring, I found out my 'guestimates' were typically way off - I was actually cheating myself most of the time (but overdoing it occassionally)! It's definitely easier to measure on a scale than in cups for sure. That's why I'm getting a secondary for work. I get irritated trying to measure in cups....you know it's actually true about redheads having a lack of patience. ☺ ☺ ☺ I hope you have an incredible week full of multiple successes!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Skeeter - yes, that is what I need - will stop putting it off and get one when I go shopping Thursday. Sick of having every measuring cup I own in the dishwasher.

Hooray you are visible again! I have found that the only accurate way to count calories is to weigh everything - it takes out the guess work of either under estimating or in my case over estimating.

A scale is really the only way to go. Maybe you need more richness in your diet. (big grin)
