templeofchrist's Journal, 20 March 2011

My caloric intake will be off for this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) as my work schedule was changed. I worked 11p-7a, so my body was all out of wack, when I was up I was either not hungry, or too tired to eat. Then when I was finally able to get some sleep, which was when I would normally have lunch, I missed it.
It's about 2:30am on Sunday morning and I am hoping by tonight my body will get back on track. I should get home around 7:30 this morning, but then have to get my daughter ready for church and we won't be home till around 1pm. Then I have to clean up the house as we have company coming for dinner. So I am not sure if I will have time to sleep today. Maybe my wonderful husband will play with our daughter outside for a bit in the afternoon so I can have an hour (or maybe a two hour)nap. Fingers crossed :)
I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

Sorry the schedule change has messed with your body. I worked night for a few months and HATED it and my Mom is an RN and worked night for YEARS and loved it(back to working 3-11 now). I would try to eat "breakfast" before you go to work(I know that's tough sometimes) and then lunch during the night(if you have time, not sure what you do) and then "dinner" when you get home. I know it's only temporary, but that's what alot of people I know who work nights regularly do. Good luck! Melissa

You are doing so incredibly well that I just know the schedule change will have had little effect on the big picture. Keep your eye on the prize and stay strong!!! You are doing fantastic!!!
