Don't be discouraged, just start brand new. Don't beat yourself up over a bad meal choice (s). And if you must eat at a fast food place, try eating only half the bread. I would suggest to try not to weigh every day. Going to the gym is good, as muscle weighs more than fat. I find that tracking everything I eat is helpful, even when I ate milk duds the other day. Talk about bad choices. I've really tried to stay away from the sugary stuff and the carbs, but no matter how I try, I cant get my protein level above my carbs. Any suggestions?

It's OK. Make a better choice for lunch and dinner and you can salvage the day. You know....it takes about 3 days for what you do today to show up on the scale, so hit an extra workout today and tomorrow and be very good on food the next couple days and you can "erase" the fast food before it even hits. You can do this.

Well, the only way to get protein above carbs is to up protein and cut carbs. Upping protein will also increase fat intake somewhat. No breads, no grains, no veggies, no fruit, no sugar. Eat meat, fish, cheese and eggs. For the first few days, it can be miserable, but then the craving for the refined sugars and starches goes away. Many people have lost lots of weight by eating that way. It's not right for everyone though.
