Back from vacation, but had to hit the ground here running to get ready for the graduation party on Friday night & then for DS & DH to leave on Sat to drive to SC so DS can start work there on Mon. I'm still basking though in the fun & success of the vacation, even as I let the stress of whats coming ahead get to me some over the weekend and again made some not as great as I'd like food choices. But, I have many more weekends ahead to choose more wisely and will take what worked so well while on vaca and incorporate them into my weekends as I work to improve my eating then too.
Today, I'm off to tennis this morning, and then up to work for the afternoon. My plan is to get the needed bookkeeping done today so I can focus on the party & move over the rest of the week. But before I get on with my busy day, I'll pray --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And, for this one day and through each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, journal & express my way. I'm so very grateful for each of fabulous you, my family & IRL friends, a wonderful vacation with many great memories to cherish, a fun-filled graduation party coming up and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox
