Lisa Ann B's Journal, 03 March 2011

Last night my mom took my family out to dinner and we went to Cici's Pizza - I felt bad after we left because I ate 3 pieces of pizza and a couple cinnamon rolls. Come to find out that the meal wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (calorie wise). Just have to make sure that when I do go out to eat I make better food choices, like last night I could have gone to the salad bar instead of getting pizza. It's all about making the right choices, and not feeling self conscious about what I am eating.

I also need to make sure that I am drinking more water. It seems to be the hardest thing for me, making sure I'm drinking enough water. Not sure why that is.

So with that being said, today is a new day and I'm ready for whatever life throws at me. Bring it on!

I had to verify your comment that 3 slices of pizza wasn't that bad for you. Check this out: http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/cicis-pizza/pepperoni-pizza-slice-of-12-inch/ I never trust the nutrition numbers that members put on here. Most of time they are different than what I can actually read off the label. In your case it's not even close. I'm just glad there's isn't a Cici's where I live. I have pigged out at a few of them while hiking in the south.

I also questioned that when I saw the calories listed for a slice of pizza - it was a lot less than I thought it would be.

We went to CiCi's a couple of weeks ago. I did well there, although I didn't want to stop eating. :X I did though, but then the following, it triggered a binge. Blah. BBQ pizza and cinnamon rolls are my favorite. I had two BBQ slices, two thin crust veggie, and one cinnamon roll, oh, and a salad. My husband actually drives a truck for them (delivery) and eats pizza all the time. I don't see how they stay in business for the $3.99 buffet prices. Of course, besides the cost of the meal, my kids blew over $10 in their game machines. lol
