Day 2 of Atkins! I woke up at 5:00 this AM, which is just weird for me! I usually really need my sleep and sleep into my alarm and then past then through some snoozes. I'm off work this week so I decided to get up and springclean my house. This is interesting, I have energy to do things I haven't been able to for awhile!

During the day I felt on and off not so well...really chilly at times, a little out of it. It's difficult for me to eat the way that I'm eating (e.g. lots of fat) because I'm so entrained with healthy eating, which I've always done when I eat consciously. It's the unconscious eating I've likely had difficulty with. Well, now I'm eating all sorts of fatty foods, and although I'm enjoying it, I'm craving veggies. I had a moment of panic today when I wasn't feeling very well and thought "I can't do this, I need veggies!!" But then I realized this is a very short phase of Induction that I'm going through, and feeling terrible is going to be very short lived as well. The yucky feelings ended when I drank some brothy soup in the afternoon.

It's amazingly encouraging to read all of your stories. It makes me feel strong to know that we're all going through this together, and we will succeed!!! Good luck everyone!
