Snuffyrs's Journal, 28 April 2014

I had a solid week being very strict with my caloric intake. This makes me very excited to go to my official weigh in at my dietitian in about 30 minutes. I also started this 6 Week 100 Push Ups Plan and 6 Week 200 Sit Ups Plan. Basically, at the end of 6 weeks, if I follow their plan, I can do 100 push ups and 200 sit ups straight. I know I can get there, just a matter of doing it. But, I feel great afterwards. My 7 year old is doing it with me so that should help with motivation as I don't want to let him down.

off to my weigh in! :)

That's fantastic. I can tell you that the sit ups are MUCH easier than the push ups. Are you doing a modified push up? or the full nose to the ground push up? Good luck!

Where did you learn about the push up/sit up plan? I would be interested in doing this with my daughter.

You can download them for your smartphone if you have one.

I'm following the instructions on the site to the tee. For those who asked, here's the links for the push ups and sit ups. I created a spreadsheet with days, etc. as it's easier for me to track and so I can add my actuals next to what the plan calls for. 100 Push Ups: http://hundredpushups.com/ 200 Sit Ups: http://www.twohundredsitups.com/ I was reading some body building forum because of some search I did on fish oil, but many commented on the program positively so I figured why not, right? And, it's something I can do with my son, at home, and in a relatively short period of time. I've got mine scheduled for MWF and plan to incorporate cardio (running) T/TR with weekends off. PS: I lost 9 lbs this week!
